“Drivers are not installed properly” message is occurring in Omni Connect. What should I do?

If you are seeing the following message in Omni Connect:

Drivers Error

The problem can usually be resolved by uninstalling Omni Connect, and then re-installing the program. If this does not solve the problem, there may be conflicting software on the PC.

An older version of “Logitech Gaming Software” causes interference with USB communication to the Omni. To fix this, please do one of the following:

  1. Update the Logitech Gaming Software to the latest version found here: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lgs
  2. Or Uninstall the Logitech Gaming Software altogether. Do this if the software is no longer necessary for you.

If the problem is still occurring, remove the Tracking Pods from the shoe cradles, wait until the lights turn yellow, then place the Pods back in the shoe cradles.
